Refund Policy
Error guarantee
If you find a material factual error in our information about your city (for example, a wrong tax rate or a missing permit requirement), report it within 30 days of receiving the Compliance Check or the monthly brief/alert containing it. If we confirm the error against official government sources, we will refund in full: the $49 Compliance Check, or the most recent monthly payment of the Stay Compliant plan. We will also correct the information.
7-day satisfaction refund
Not happy with your $49 Compliance Check? Ask within 7 days of delivery for a full refund, no questions asked.
Sole remedy
A refund as described here is your sole and exclusive remedy for errors or dissatisfaction with the Service. Refunds do not cover fines, penalties, taxes or other losses (see our Terms). Rules that change after we deliver are not errors.
How to request a refund
Email stebbins.peter@gmail.com with the subject "Refund request", the email you ordered with, your city, and (for error claims) what was wrong and a link to the official source. We reply within 5 business days. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method through Stripe and usually appear within 5 to 10 business days.
